Dr. Fiona Walton, Professor of Education at UPEI, has been awarded a 2012 3M National Teaching Fellowship. Each year, the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education and 3M Canada join together to reward exceptional teaching and learning at Canadian universities. Walton was among the 10 teaching fellows chosen for this year.
Fiona Walton and Darlene O'Leary are heading north this week where a Nunavut-wide Teachers' Conference is taking place in Iqaluit. While in Iqaluit, we will be interviewing our Nunavut Master of Education graduates to see what has happened since they completed the program. Fiona and Darlene also asking our graduates and members of the present cohort to complete surveys for the ArcticNet University Access research.
